Case Study: Hospice of the FoothillsA 12 bed care facility with administrative offices Services Rendered:
Hospice of the Foothills (hofo.org) is a full service Hospice Care organization serving Nevada County. This project started with our firm being chosen to produce Design Development drawings, the Construction Documents and Construction Administration. We were interviewed and chosen by the original design Architect from a pool of five local Architectural firms. As the project progressed it became clear that the original design was not working for the client, so our firm was hired to provide Schematic Design services as well. The building is just less than 30,000 sf and provides the client with a business operations function as well as 12 private patient care rooms and functional space for their out patient services as well. It is one of very few facilities of this type and complexity in the state. Here are a few photos taken during construction and as construction nears completion.
