Arnold Residence

I recently visited the Arnold's at their home that we completed in 2008.  We had a small electrical issue to resolve as well as a small issue with the flooring in the master bathroom.  The place is starting to look "lived in" which is always such a treat to see after so long in design and construction.

Peter had recently completed a couple of his famous Calder-like mobiles that were hanging from the loft ceiling.  One - my personal favorite - was made it brightly colored japanese fishing bobbers.  They created a very colorful, playful and fragile composition.

The gardens are starting to come into their own, the carport is getting organized and there were stories of pomegranates from the  trees transplanted from the old farm as well as a quick tour of the winter vegetable garden - cauliflower, broccoli and leafy greens.

Sarah (as always) had treats for me, the kids and the office - Ginger snap cookies fresh from the oven.  The house seems to be working out very well - both humans and dogs are loving their new place!
